Celebrating
8 Years of Friendship, Growth and Inspiration, as well as Longevity, Spring and Mother's Day
Today
(Thursday – May 7, 2026) is a remarkable milestone for Alice
& Friends Circle™ - it
is our 8th anniversary!
Eight years ago, a spark of friendship and shared passion brought us together,
and over time, that spark has ignited a vibrant, supportive community that
continues to uplift, inspire and empower each member. From our very first
gathering to the countless events, projects and heartfelt conversations since,
the journey has been extraordinary, and it is all thanks to YOU, dear friends.
Our guest of honor this time, was Hon. Gabriel Rotaru (who is Consul
General of Romania in Vancouver and the Head of the Romanian Diplomatic Mission
here, as well as Minister Plenipotentiary of Romania in Canada) who delivered
a beautiful appreciative speech about our Circle, emphasizing Consulate’s
ongoing support.
While
at this page, I would like to emphasize that this anniversary isn’t just a
celebration of time; it’s a celebration of connection, creativity and genuine
human spirit.
Alice & Friends Circle™ has always stood for inclusivity,
curiosity, positivity, gratitude and kindness, giving each one of us a
space to grow learn, and share our unique perspectives. Whether it was hosting
workshops, charity gestures in our community, or simply exchanging stories over
coffee, every contribution has woven a richer tapestry of friendship and shared
experiences.
As
we reflect on the past eight years, we honor the laughter, the challenges we overcome
and the countless moments where members lifted each other up. We have seen
friendships blossom, skills flourish and confidence bloom. The power of
community is undeniable, and Alice & Friends Circle™ is a living testament to the
magic that happens when individuals come together with open hearts and minds.
Looking
ahead, the journey continues. Let’s embrace new ideas, organize more inspiring
gatherings, and nurture the bonds that define us. Every handshake, smile, and
shared story contributes to a tapestry of joy, support and inspiration.
Together, we can make the next chapter just as remarkable as the last.
