Many
Romanians throughout the entire world proudly celebrate each year on June 24th the Universal
Day of the Romanian Blouse, occasion which allows us to emphasize its
anthropological significance, as well as different traditional manifestations
meant to further spread the richness of our cultural heritage.
June 24 marks also the Midsummer Day – known as “Sânzienele” in Romanian folk beliefs.
My best regards to all who observe this occasion & continuously promote
the Romanian identity outfit – “ia”!
